Marathon-My First Experience

Sunday, Feb 19th, NITTE Mangaluru 1/2 Marathon

Morning 5.30 am

I woke up by morning 5am and went to the location

Crowd looked like sea of people, place was surrounded with lot of spirit and enthusiasm
i started observing all the people around, everyone around me looked very cool and few people r busy in taking selfies, few people busy in doing warm ups.
There was a prior announcement of  cash prize for 1,2,3 winners in marathon but what i observed is none of their faces looked like they really bothered about it.
And i was busy in thinking about how i can win the cash prize with having so much of leg pain and every thought made me feel so nervous
And there the race started and before revealing about how far i succeeded in marathon, i would like to share my pre preparations for marathon.
I registered two weeks before for marathon and i thought i should go for practise daily but i ended up practising only for two days but daily i thought a lot about how to win the race.
At that point of time for me winning the race is winning cash prize.
Now coming back to my experience during marathon, for the first 2-3 Kms i was among top 10 runners and then slowly many people started crossing me and all of a sudden i realised i cant win it and at the end i completely lost and went back to room by getting very disappointed.
Even though i went back to room my thoughts still around marathon race only and then i started doing post marten of where i went wrong and how i lost it.
I realised the only reason i lost is because of my mindset.
I found few differences between myself and the other runners in the race
1)I participated to win the cash prize whereas others participated because they wanted to experience the marathon
2)I ran for money and others did it out of passion

Even though i didn't win but it had changed my perception towards marathon.
Before participating in marathon i have seen it like a sport and as i'm a bit passionate about sports, as like every sport i participated in this also and tried to win.

Off late i started reading about other peoples experience of marathon just to understand their perception towards it and then i have found this quote by Emil Zatopek

We are different, in essence, from other men. If you want to win something, run 100 meters. If you want to experience something, run a marathon.” – Emil Zatopek

Yes, Marathon is not a sport to win. It's an experience ,Next time i will make sure that i participate in marathon to have a better experience and to enjoy but not to win cash prize

Beauty of Sports-INDIA

INDIA was well known for its culture
But , the two things make Indians crazy is Sports and movies.
Well here the discussion is abt what makes India united ....
Movies r well divided in to their own industries such as Bollywood,Kollywood,Tollywood etc
And about sports I feel it s d one which makes all Indians United.
Jst a day back I have realised a classic example of such unity among Indians and I'm quite inspired about the beauty of sportsmen
Before talking about the classic example I would like to share an open incident well known to everyone.
Three,four months ago,
Cauvery issue which has a history of more than 100 years made two state people go on neck to neck and more over it has created a dispute between two states common people. I saw kannadigas trolling Tamilians and vice versa. Well people who r not affected by that incident in any way also started trolling all d common people and at the same time even movies also can't unite two state people. Vikram starrer "Iru Murugan " release was stopped in Karnataka and in return Kannada movies r stopped in tamilnadu . Adding more even people started saying like Sir Rajinikanth  is our kannadigan and Dr.Abdul Kalam is our Tamilian (ofcourse Dr.Abdul Kalam is not film star). So dis simply conveyed even movies can't unite Indians.

But,
 Classic incident:
Test match 5: India Vs England
Two Karnataka players Rahul and Nair who scored high in d match which happened to b in chennai (Chidambaram stadium) got applause and standing ovation from the chennai crowd. From outside view dis incident showcases Tamilians applauding Karnataka players effort, but Reality is no one bothered abt which state dey belong to because they represented team INDIA and whole India applauded them.
An example which showcased Sports bring the Unity among all the Indians.
Proud to be an "INDIAN"

Courtesy credits for the classic incident:Avijith Das Patnaik
I have read his post in die hard cricket fans and I prolonged my idea which was inspired by his post mentioned about the match incident.

Demonetisation of Old Currency-Is it a right move????

November 8th evening around 8pm, Media was informed earlier that there will be an announcement by PM Narendra Modi by evening, everyone expected PM may announce war on Pakistan,(Because of the hype created by media).

But the same day evening an announcement came regarding Demonetization of currency probably a news as big as war against Pakistan.

The intention behind the idea of demonetization is good in all the ways, but why so much of opposition to that?

Implementation of a great idea went wrong in every possible manner and the end result is common people suffered big time, though the intention is good but there are no particular precautions taken.

This move by the government can b a great move if they had implemented properly, and to make things more worse the later announcements made by the government as precautions to the demonetization effect has gone wrong.

Many of their moves post demonetization lack in clarity.

I Never heard any poor person complaining on rich people becoming rich, if someone(Leaders) wants India to b developed, Make Poor people Rich. I mean to say provide the comforts of living to all the people equally.

I do not support this move by the government because v r in the world where money rules people.so, corruption and black money seems to be undercontrol(Because of some sudden moves like this) but, as long as people are there , there will be an existence for black money and corruption.

MY VIEW ON IDEA

Are there Good/Bad IDEAS?
@November 26,2014
There is no Good or Bad idea......Its all depends on how we implement the idea which we got....If we implement well it can be a good idea or else there is something gone wrong in implementation of your idea........so don't differentiate an idea into good or bad,if we start differentiating.....it will lead to  lack of ideas......

                                      An IDEA can change EVERYTHING
